R100 and R100B Dose Detectors

The R100B are solid state dose detectors for use with the Barracuda and R100 for use with the Solidose Family.

Several Applications

The R100 and R100B can be used for film and skin dose, dose rate to image intensifier, mAs linearity, HVL, reproducibility, HVL, and AEC measurements. The R100 and R100B are ideal for field service situations since the detectors are well protected from damage by the metal housing. The detectors are very durable. They do not need corrections for temperature or pressure and need no bias voltage.

They are designed to be insensitive to back scattered radiation. The small size of the detectors make them convenient for measurements in the tray.

Both models, R100 and R100B, can be used with the Barracuda. Only R100 can be used with the Solidose family of dosimeters. With Barracuda
