One Shot HVL for Mammography

One shot HVL for mammography is now available to all new Piranhas of version 2 or higher. One shot HVL is possible both if you are using Ocean or QA Browser, with or without compression paddle.
All Piranhas (version 2 or higher), which are in for re-calibration, will get the one shot HVL feature.

Mammography one shot HVL is available for following radiation qualities:

M1 (Mo/30 µm Mo)

M3 (Mo/25 µm Rh)

M4 (Rh/25 µm Rh)

M6 (W/50 µm Rh)

M10 (W/55 µm Ag)

HVL range: 0.19 – 0.7 mm Al

Expanded Uncertainty: ±10 %

The version number of your Piranha can be found on the serial number label underneath the instrument.
